Getting off my arse

Anybody here into country music?

Ha ha ha. You're all going to laugh at me. Hell, I'm laughing at myself. I'm getting off my ass and being social again. This time it's going to be this Tuesday coming up. There was a last minute concert that was announced on Thursday. It's at the same small venue that Jet is going to be performing. We got the news from the friend of one of the guys at work, so we were supposed to go online and try to get tickets at 10 am. We each had the credit card number of one of the guys friends, because they ALL wanted to go to the concert. 10 AM hit, I jumped online and got tickets for the guy's friend. Then I figured, what the hell, the tickets are cheap (only $12.50) and I need to get off my ass, so I got a couple tickets myself too. The concert sold out in 7 minutes. Wow. The main upside to the concert is that there are going to be loads of women there. Plus my buddy said he'd introduce me to some of his friends. WOO HOO!

The downside is that I'm not a HUGE fan of what's playing. We're going to see Kenny Chesney. Country isn't usually my cup of tea. I grew up on the old stuff, but haven't listened too much since I was... about 8. My old boss at the sign shop listened to it some, so I'm not completely out of the loop, but I should probably try and hear a few songs before going on Tuesday.
